Scott and I met during my freshman year of college at SUNY Albany in the spring of 2013—he was from Long Island, and I was from Rochester, NY. We started dating in October of 2014 and got engaged in June of 2017, shortly after graduating. We had a long engagement so there was plenty of time to plan all things wedding.

After touring a few possible venues, we landed on the National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs. The beautiful setting in the Saratoga Spa State Park was what really sold me—I could just see how gorgeous the pictures would be. After setting a date—July 27, 2019—and securing our venue, I immediately knew what was next on our list. I had been set on our photographer and videographer duo for years after gushing over their work for other couples—Rachel Liz Photography and A-Frame Digital. I found the perfect dress at the first stop on my list—Lily Saratoga—the service was wonderful, and it is the cutest bridal shop! We booked the rest of our vendors pretty quickly after that so we could just relax and enjoy our engagement stress-free.

Before we knew it, our two-year engagement had flown by, and every detail of our wedding day was perfect. This was all thanks to our amazing team of vendors and my glam squad, Abby Greco and Sharon DeMartino from Slek Salon, for making me feel beautiful. Every aspect of our special day exceeded all expectations, and it truly was the magical fairytale I always dreamed it would be.
