JESSICA & ANDREW

Our Story...

Andrew and I met the Summer of 2019, at a little dive bar up in Lake George. My parents live up there and my brother wanted to go out for his birthday and meet up with some friends, so I decided to tag along. I ended up meeting Andrew there for the first time, not realizing that we not only had many mutual friends, but that my brother was one of them! I remember going home that night and asking my brother “who is that Andrew guy?” and the rest is history.

Despite crazy work schedules and busy summer plans, we had our first official date in September. Since that first date, we attended 14 weddings together, spent summer weekends up in Lake George, and enjoyed all that Saratoga has to offer.

After three years of dating, Andrew proposed atop a hiking trail that my family typically hikes once or twice a year. I could not have been more shocked or surprised, and it was so special having my family there, as well as his, who were hiding in the bushes!

When it came time to planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to be in the heart of Saratoga Springs. We instantly fell in love with the history and classic charm of The Adelphi Hotel. We are so grateful to Connie at The Adelphi and every single one of our vendors who helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Our day was filled with so much love, and it was a really amazing feeling to have all of our loved ones together in the same room, celebrating us. Our wedding day was truly everything we could have dreamed of and more!

Advice to pass along...

After the ceremony and before your cocktail hour, try to take a few minutes alone, just the two of you, because it allows you to soak everything in and get excited for the rest of your special day.

Your wedding day is about you and your partner, so do what makes YOU happy, and make sure to have fun because it all goes by so fast!
