Our Story...

Brian and I met while working in New York City and living a block apart in Hoboken, NJ. Our first summer of dating included many trips up to Saratoga and the Capital Region, where I am from. Saratoga instantly became one of our favorite places.

After three years of dating, Brian popped the question at the Chanler Hotel on the Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island while our families secretly were waiting for us! It was a dream!

Even though we lived in Hoboken, we had been dreaming about a Saratoga wedding (while reading Saratoga Bride!) since that first summer together. We looked at several venues around the area and instantly fell in love with the Hall of Springs from the first drive down the Avenue of the Pines.

We knew we wanted a black-tie affair, with a band. We wanted an outdoor ceremony near the Reflecting Pool, a cocktail hour on the Portico and to end the night with an after-party in the Jazz bar.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! We had a beautiful, sunny, 70-degree day. Our dream team of vendors brought our vision to life perfectly. We feel so lucky to have spent the day with our friends and family who traveled near and far to celebrate our love.

Advice to pass along...

My advice for a future Saratoga Bride is to trust your vendors. They are the professionals! Focus on being present on your wedding day. It goes by SO quickly.
