Our Story...

$6.66 was my total when I stopped at Stewart's on my way to our first date. The cashier said "that's unlucky" and I headed off to Starbucks. Then, JARED DIDN'T SHOW UP! Apparently, I never confirmed our date, so Jared thought I changed my mind. We ended up still meeting that night and started dating 17 days later on FRIDAY THE 13th (1.13.17!) In 2021, Jared brought me to Tiffany & Co. to pick out a 1.13 carat diamond. He specifically wanted to get me a 1.13 carat because 1.13 is the day we started dating (1.13.17) & the day we set for a wedding date (1.13.23.) We also text each other hearts at 1:13PM almost daily to let each other know we're thinking about each other. My mother in law read Corinthians 1:13 at our ceremony. In addition, instead of tables numbers at our wedding we had table "love is patient" table "love is kind," etc. Each table tent had a story of when our love was patient, kind, etc. Finally, our wedding hashtag was #TLC113 (because I always said I wanted to marry a man with the last name of C so my initials would be TLC) so our hashtag was #TLC113. We chose the colors blue and green because in our song "Die a Happy Man" Thomas Rhett says "If I never get to see the Northern Lights I could die a happy man." Therefore, our colors were blue and green! Our wedding day was a picture perfect fairytale and completely US.
