Our Story...

JOSHUA:

During the challenging times of the pandemic, like many seeking connections, I found Megan on the dating app Hilly. My heart skipped a beat as I swiped right on her while working out at the gym with my sister. Megan's directness, questioning my age and intentions, revealed her raw authenticity, drawing me in with her honesty as we chatted amidst the clinking weights.

MEGAN:

As our conversations blossomed, we decided to meet in person, leading to an enchanting first date at Mini Golf, where Joshua's prowess not only in mini golf but in capturing my heart became evident.

Our adventures in Troy NY, from bike rides to shared moments, deepened our bond, culminating in the decision to move in together in Saratoga NY, solidifying our love. Exploring the thrill of jet skiing in Daytona Beach ignited our spirits, creating unforgettable memories and a desire for more adventures.

Joshua's surprise trip to Jamaica turned into a fairytale as he asked me for forever, and in that magical moment, overwhelmed with joy and love, I said yes, my heart brimming with the certainty that Joshua was my forever.

In January 2024, after meticulous planning, we chose to say "I do" closer to our hearts at The Excelsior. Our wedding day, wrapped in snowy enchantment, became a magical celebration of love and joy, heralding the start of our shared forever.

Advice to Pass Along...

Consider the local vendors in and around Saratoga Springs. We kept it local and couldn't have been happier. 

Special Touches 

Karen and Paul, from Saratoga Sound DJ were fantastic! From their acoustic duo during the ceremony to the surprise Haitian music at the reception. They had everyone up and dancing. Also, highly recommend the photo booth!
