Our Story...

Connor and I met at the Northeastern University library in Boston while we were both getting our master’s in accounting. I sat next to him during our tax class final, and he found me on Facebook later that day to ask how I did on the test.

...Before we knew it we were inseparable.

After finishing our degrees, we both moved to NYC to start our careers in public accounting. We moved into our first apartment together in 2019, but a few months later our entire apartment building was burned to the ground.

Luckily, everyone in the building made it out of the fire. We lost a lot of material objects but got closer than ever. That fire taught us that we are at our best when we are working as a team, and all we really need to be happy is each other.

After 5 years together, Connor proposed on New Year’s Eve at my family home on Lake George. Connor knew that I always wanted to get married at The Inn at Erlowest, so he had planned a special surprise New Year’s Day brunch there for the two of us to celebrate our engagement. Little did Connor know that by the time we left brunch I would already have our wedding date booked!

We absolutely loved our intimate wedding with family and friends, the Inn at Erlowest went above and beyond, and every detail was even better than we could have imagined.

Rehearsal Dinner: The Algonquin

The flowers for the wedding were all planted and grown specifically for the wedding by my friend in Little Compton, Rhode Island. I was able to choose dahlia varieties, help tend to the tubers, visit the dahlia fields,and make my own bouquet on the morning of my wedding with my best friend!
