Our Story...
Owen and I met at my first post graduate job, working in a lab for a pharmaceutical company. We sat right next to each other, and Owen was assigned as my trainer. At first, I thought he was too serious and reserved, but over time he revealed how patient, kind and reliable he was. We ended up working weekends together fairly often, and I asked for his number "in case of emergencies".
We both fell head over heels very quickly, and after three years of dating we decided to move back to the Capitol Region to be closer to my family. We had discussed marriage many times and knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. One morning, Owen asked me to get ready for a surprise, and brought me to a jeweler to pick out an engagement (and wedding) ring. It was perfect.
I always knew I wanted to get married in the Adirondacks, as it was so close to home yet so beautiful. Owen's family has always loved trips up to Lake George and the mountains, so the Fort William Henry was the perfect choice. The Carriage House has the perfect view of the lake, and the fall foliage made it that much more beautiful.
We were incredibly blessed to have gorgeous weather and an amazing team of vendors working with us on our wedding day. We truly could not have asked for a more perfect day.
