Our Story...

Mike and I had known each other for years before we started seeing each other. I had seen him playing baseball and asked a friend about him but he was seeing someone at the time. I ended up getting into a long relationship so we just didn’t connect upon officially meeting, but about 7-8 years later our paths aligned and the rest is history. We fell hard for each other right away. I guess the universe is always on time.

We’ve been together for about 14 years and have welcomed two kids: 12-year-old Lily & 4-year-old Mo. We truly are best friends. Soulmates. All that. Marriage was something we always said we didn’t need because we were happy the way things were. Then Christmas Eve 2021 he proposed. I was literally shocked and speechless. I don’t think I spoke for like 60 seconds I just cried, ha. We clearly do things in a non-traditional way.

Downtown Saratoga was where it all started for us so it just felt right to get married there. The 408 Event & Occasion was the perfect location being right in the heart of town and brought the romantic vibes I was looking for. We wanted the ceremony to be intimate. I’m sure none of our guests were surprised we chose Vapor Night Club as our reception venue. We’re fun! Our friends and family are fun! Meant to be. Our original wedding date was set for Best Friend’s Day June 6, 2024 but then The Belmont was announced. *insert a lot of tears* but our venues graciously agreed to reschedule and we ended up having the most vibey winter wedding. Truly the universe aligning again to create the most magical and epic day ever. We had the best time with our family and friends.

• Advice to Pass Along •

Plan a day that will keep you as stress free as possible, even if it’s not traditional. Our ceremony was small and intimate but our reception was a big party. We don’t love cake, so we skipped it and went for a champagne tower instead. We kept it simple and true to who we are. I loved that for us.
