• OUR STORY •
Our love story began over a Thursday night game of cornhole.
Jason grew up in South Glens Falls, NY, while I was raised on Long Island. After college, I spent a year living in downtown Saratoga. One evening, I went out for a drink with a friend and Jason happened to be out with some of his coworkers and friends. It was early and Tap and Barrel was fairly empty. With our two groups among the only people there, one of Jason's friends invited us to play cornhole with them. Jason and I found ourselves playing against each other and somewhere between friendly competition and conversation, we hit it off.
We've been together ever since!
Our first date was at Nine Maple giving us a true Caroline Street beginning!
Soon after, I moved to Rhode Island for grad school. For two years we built our relationship around weekend visits, until I finished school and we moved in together in the Saratoga area. On a trip to Scotland, Jason
proposed at the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow.
When we started wedding planning, Hiland was the first-and-only venue we toured. We knew right away that it was the right spot for us. From there, our wedding became a true labor of love: late night Cricut projects, countless conversations with our amazing vendors and lots of help from family and friends.
Every detail came together to create a day that felt unmistakenly ours!

Photo Dash before dinner.
We sat on the dance floor and each table was called to run up for a photo.
Guets loved this and had really fun ideas - like lifting our chairs in the air. We're using the photos for thank you cards!
COCKTAIL HOUR GAMES
We had cornhole and champange pong outside during cocktial hour.
• Advice to Pass Along •
Do your research when selecting vendors.
Choosing the right people and trusting their expertise can really bring your vision to life and make your day flow seamlessly.
We didn't do speeches and opted to just say a thank you to our guests. We had a short ceremony and were on the dance floor before dinner was served. Nothing is stopping you from cherry picking the traditions you like and skipping any that do not feel right.
