• OUR STORY •
Jake and I met in 2017. Jake played hockey at RPI and they were playing a game at Cornell, which I was attending. Our first date was at Friendly’s in Troy, while I was home for Christmas. What started as a holiday ice-cream date quickly turned into a long-distance relationship!
In 2018, I moved to NYC to begin my career at Goldman Sachs. Jake was at RPI, finishing his degree, then earning his master’s while coaching RPI hockey. We spent a lot of time traveling between NYC and upstate!

In March 2020, I came home for a quick weekend trip to watch his hockey game — and stayed nearly a year when the world shut down due to COVID. In 2021, I returned to NYC, and we continued long-distance until Jake accepted a position with J.P. Morgan in 2022.

Our wedding weekend began with a Friday welcome party at Siro’s for all our guests. We exchanged vows at the historic Bethesda Episcopal Church before celebrating at the Canfield Casino, with an after-party at Jacob & Anthony’s. We concluded with a Sunday brunch at the Adelphi.
Our perfect weekend flew by--and we are so grateful we got to celebrate our love with the people we love!

It was important to us that the entire wedding weekend felt inclusive, especially for our many guests traveling from out of town. We wanted the rehearsal celebration to introduce everyone to the history, elegance, and unique character of Saratoga Springs, and Siro’s felt like the perfect setting. As the quintessential Saratoga Race Course gathering spot, it captures so much of the city’s history and tradition—even with the track closed for the season—and gave our guests a true taste of Saratoga before the wedding day.
