Since 2016, The Queensbury has undergone a multi-million-dollar renovation and restoration project that has included the updating of event spaces, guest rooms, restaurants, the lobby, front desk and more.
During recent renovations, they uncovered the original 1926 terrazzo floors in their lobby and Gold Room. The Queensbury quickly took on the challenge of bringing them back to life with a professional restoration team. The Gold Room now glistens and the lobby shines thanks to these historic features.
NEW ADIRONDACK BALLROOM: COMING SUMMER 2022
The long-awaited Adirondack Ballroom expansion is next on the list of these exciting updates to the historic property. The 5,200-square-foot expansion project will include a complete renovation and enlargement of their Adirondack Room, plus the addition of a patio space and even a brand-new state-of-the-art kitchen for their culinary team.
The Adirondack Ballroom will accommodate weddings and events for up to 350 guests and they have teamed up with Saratoga Springs-based architectural company, Phinney Design Group, to bring their vision to life. The space will feature modern shades of gray to complement sleek chandeliers and light fixtures that give the space both a contemporary yet classic feel. They have worked diligently to ensure the finishes and aesthetics match the original look and feel of the historic 1926 building. We cannot wait to see the completed space this summer, and lucky for you, they are already accepting bookings!
