Greg and I matched after we both swiped right on Bumble. Our first date was at Uncommon Grounds. We talked for 3 hours over two small cups of coffee and have been inseparable ever since.
Greg proposed in April of 2019, with the help of our two dogs. Wedding planning started immediately, and Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the first - and only - venue we visited. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else the minute we stepped inside and immediately booked a wedding date of April 18, 2020. Then, COVID hit.
In March of 2020, we were forced to reschedule. We rescheduled to July 18, 2020, then September 11, 2020, and then finally, July 10, 2021. The process of rescheduling our wedding multiple times was seamless because of Jan, Kate and the rest of the Old Daley staff, who did everything they could to take the stress off our shoulders.
Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. Old Daley brought our vision to life; the food and drinks were delicious; and the dance floor was packed all night thanks to our DJ, Chris Hollister. Danielle Simmons, our incredible photographer captured every intimate moment, allowing us to relive our day every time we look through our gallery. Our wedding day was perfect, and we owe it all to our amazing vendors, family, and friends! Now…it’s time to grow our family!
